Tickets are reserved before payment
When you reserve entries, those ticket numbers are temporarily held so the same ticket cannot be sold to another customer during the checkout window.
This page explains the controls built into GiveawaysZone around ticket reservation, paid entries, competition closure, draws and published results.
When you reserve entries, those ticket numbers are temporarily held so the same ticket cannot be sold to another customer during the checkout window.
A reserved ticket is not treated as a completed entry until the related order is successfully paid and recorded. Expired or abandoned reservations can return to availability.
Competitions use published closing and draw information. Once entry is closed, new paid entries are not added to the draw pool for that competition.
The draw process works from the eligible competition entries recorded in the system. Draw information is retained so completed outcomes can be reviewed.
Completed results can show the public winner name, winning entry number, prize information and competition record without exposing unnecessary personal information.
Where a draw audit is available, GiveawaysZone links the published result to the verification record so the result can be checked after completion.
Our Fair Play information describes the controls and records currently implemented by GiveawaysZone. If an independent audit or certification is completed in future, its scope and provider will be published clearly here.
