Rules for using GiveawaysZone, entering prize competitions, using the free postal route, receiving rewards and claiming prizes.

Last reviewed: 2026-10-02
Important. These Terms apply alongside the specific information shown on each competition page. If a competition-specific rule conflicts with these Terms, the clearly disclosed competition-specific rule applies to that competition, except where law requires otherwise.

1. Who operates GiveawaysZone

GiveawaysZone is operated by GiveawaysZone.

References to “we”, “us” and “our” mean the operator. “You” and “entrant” mean a person using the website or entering a competition.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and ordinarily resident in Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales) unless a competition page states a narrower eligible area. Employees, contractors or other persons directly involved in administering a draw, and members of their household where stated, may be excluded to protect draw integrity.

We may ask for reasonable evidence of age, identity, residence, contact details or eligibility before accepting an entry, releasing a prize or investigating suspected abuse. Providing false information may invalidate an entry or account.

3. Nature of the competitions

GiveawaysZone is designed to operate commercial prize draws with both a paid entry route and a genuine free entry route. A compliant free draw is not licensed or approved by the Gambling Commission, and nothing on this website should be read as a claim of Gambling Commission approval or endorsement.

Where a competition includes a question, the correct answer may still be required by our competition rules. We do not rely on a simple multiple-choice question by itself as the legal basis for treating a paid promotion as a skill competition where a genuine free entry route is available.

4. Paid entry route

To enter online, follow the competition page, complete any required question, select or request the permitted number of entries and complete checkout using an available payment method. Entry prices, maximum entries, closing information, prize details and any material restrictions are shown before purchase.

Ticket numbers may be customer-selected or allocated randomly, depending on the competition. A ticket shown as temporarily reserved is not a completed entry until the order is successfully paid and accepted. Reservations can expire and return to availability if checkout is not completed in time.

5. Free postal entry route

Where enabled, you may enter without paying the competition entry price by following our Free Postal Entry instructions and the specific requirements shown for that competition. A valid free entry has the same chance of winning as a paid entry and is included in the same draw pool. We do not distinguish between paid and valid free entries when selecting a winner.

The free route must be used exactly as instructed and must reach the stated postal address before the competition closes. Ordinary first or second class post is sufficient unless a lawful and clearly disclosed alternative is offered. The cost of normal postage is borne by the entrant.

6. Entry limits and fair use

Competition pages may set a maximum number of entries per person, household, account, payment method or other reasonable anti-abuse measure. You must not evade limits by opening duplicate accounts, using false details, automated tools, scripts, bots, third-party bulk-entry services or other methods intended to obtain an unfair advantage.

We may reject or investigate entries where we reasonably believe there is fraud, payment abuse, collusion, technical manipulation, identity misuse or a breach of these Terms. We will not use this power to disadvantage a valid free entrant simply because no entry fee was paid.

7. Promotions, discounts, credit and rewards

Discount codes, bundle discounts, GiveawaysZone Credit, referral rewards, bonus entries, spin rewards, instant-win benefits and other promotions may have separate eligibility, expiry, stacking, usage or redemption rules. Those rules will be shown where the promotion is offered.

Promotional credit has no cash value unless we expressly state otherwise. We may correct a reward or balance created by a clear system error, duplicate issue, fraud or reversal of the underlying qualifying transaction.

8. Instant wins and additional prizes

Some competitions may include instant wins, runner-up prizes, every-ticket-wins rewards or other additional prize mechanics. The competition page will explain the prize, quantity, availability and any cash alternative. For competitions where customers can choose specific ticket numbers, unrevealed future winning ticket numbers may be kept hidden to preserve fairness.

9. Closing dates and changes

The advertised closing and draw information is material. We will not arbitrarily extend, cancel or reduce a prize merely because entry sales are lower than expected. A material change will only be made where there is a genuine exceptional reason, legal requirement, safety issue, technical failure or event outside our reasonable control, and we will communicate the effect fairly to entrants.

If a competition cannot lawfully or fairly proceed, we may use an appropriate remedy such as rescheduling, an equivalent or improved prize where permitted, or refunding affected paid entries. Your statutory rights are not excluded.

10. Draws and winner selection

Eligible paid and valid free entries are entered into the same draw. Winners are selected using the draw method disclosed for the competition. Draws are intended to be random, fair and capable of audit or verification. Results, draw records, winner information or a replay may be published through our Results, Winners or Live Draws pages where appropriate.

We may conduct eligibility and integrity checks before confirming a winner. A provisional result does not create a right to a prize where the selected entry was invalid, fraudulent or ineligible.

11. Winner contact and claiming a prize

We will use the contact details held on the winning account or valid free entry. A winner should respond within 14 days of our first reasonable notification unless the competition states another period.

If a winner does not respond after reasonable attempts, cannot satisfy eligibility checks or refuses the prize, we may select or confirm an alternative winner in accordance with the competition rules. We will keep a reasonable record of that process.

12. Prizes and cash alternatives

The prize is the prize described on the competition page. A cash alternative is available only where it is expressly offered. Where a winner has a choice between the physical prize and cash, the available amount and deadline for choosing will be stated clearly.

Images may be illustrative, but the material specification and condition of a prize will be described accurately. We may substitute only where reasonably necessary and on terms that do not unfairly reduce the winner’s position.

13. Delivery, collection and ownership

Prize delivery or collection arrangements depend on the prize and will be agreed with the verified winner. The winner is responsible for providing accurate details and completing any lawful transfer, registration, insurance or identity process that applies to the prize.

14. Winner publicity

We may publish limited information necessary to demonstrate that a valid award took place, for example a winner’s first name and surname initial, general location, winning ticket number and prize. We will take data-protection considerations and legitimate objections into account. See our Privacy Policy.

15. Payments, cancellations and refunds

Unless these Terms, the competition rules or applicable law provide otherwise, paid entries are generally final after payment has been accepted and entries have been allocated. This does not remove any refund, consumer or other statutory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

If a payment is reversed, charged back, fraudulent or never successfully settles, the related entry may be invalidated. We will not invalidate a valid free entry for lack of payment.

16. Technical problems and obvious errors

We use reasonable care to keep the service available and accurate, but temporary outages, provider failures or display errors can occur. An obvious pricing, ticket, reward or prize configuration error does not require us to honour an impossible or clearly unintended result, but we will deal with affected users fairly and preserve completed valid entries wherever reasonably possible.

17. Account security and conduct

You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity carried out through your account unless you tell us promptly about suspected unauthorised access. Do not interfere with the website, attempt to access another user’s information, scrape restricted data, reverse-engineer security controls or manipulate entry or draw systems.

18. Responsible participation

Prize competitions should be entertainment, not a way to make money or recover losses. Only spend what you can comfortably afford. You can contact us to request account suspension or closure and can opt out of marketing. See Responsible Play.

19. Privacy and cookies

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. Non-essential cookies and similar technologies are controlled through our consent manager and described in our Cookie Policy.

20. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or rights that consumers cannot waive. Subject to those protections, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that result from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

21. Complaints

If something goes wrong, use our Complaints Procedure. Include the competition, order or ticket reference and enough information for us to investigate. Privacy complaints can also be raised through the contact listed in our Privacy Policy.

22. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply to you in your part of Great Britain.

23. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms for future use where law, guidance, our services or operating practices change. We will not retrospectively rewrite a material competition rule to unfairly disadvantage entrants. The version applicable when you enter will normally continue to govern that entry.
